DAY 01 : ARRIVE DELHI
On arrival at Indira Gandhi international airport, meet and greet by Glimpse Destination Mgt representative. Later, assistance and transfer to hotel for overnight stay .
DAY 02 : DELHI
Morning enjoy your breakfast at hotel After breakfast you will transfer to visit Old & New Delhi Visit some of the interesting sites of Delhi such as, Qutub Minar, Humanyun’s Tomb, Drive past President’s House, India Gate, and Red fort (visit Outside Only). Later also visit Jamma Masjid & enjoy Rickshaw ride at Chandni Chowk, visit Raj Ghat - crimination site of Mahatma Gandhi, the father of the Nation, Lotus Temple, Lakshmi Narayan Temple. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 03 : DELHI – AGRA (205 Kms/5 Hrs)
Morning start your journey to the Taj City, AGRA. On arrival at Agra and proceed to your hotel. Rest of the time is kept free for own activities.
Agra is famous as the home to one of the Seven Wonders of the World – the Taj Mahal. The architectural splendour of the mausoleums, the fort and the palaces in Agra is a vivid reminder of the opulence of the legendary Mughal Empire. Agra was their capital for nearly a hundred years from 1564. A pleasant town, with a comparatively easy pace, Agra is known for its superb inlay work on marble and soapstone by artisans who are hereditary craft persons. The city is also famous for its carpets, gold thread embroidery and leather shoes.Overnight in Agra
DAY 04 : AGRA
Morning after breakfast visit the Taj Mahal – the inimitable poem in white marble. Built over a period of 22 years, by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in 1630, for his Queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains, it is one of the seven modern wonders of the World. [The Taj is closed on every Friday].
Visit Itmad – Ud – Daula Tomb & Agra Fort built by three Mughal Emperors starting from Akbar the Great in 1565 AD, which is a masterpiece of design and construction. Within the fort are a number of exquisite buildings including the Moti Masjid, Jahangir’s Palace, Khaas Mahal and the Sheesh Mahal, Diwane-i-Am, Diwane-i-Khas and Musamman Burj, where Emperor Shah Jahan, the fifth Mughal Emperor died a prisoner. DAY 05 : AGRA – FATEHPUR SIKRI – JAIPUR (245 Kms/5 ½ Hrs)
After breakfast at hotel drive to Jaipur en route visit of Fatehpur Sikri – this exquisite city built by Akbar the Great in 1569, in red sandstone, with its forts, palaces and mosques was abandoned 14 years after its creation due to political reasons. The Diwane-i-Am – a vast courtyard in which the emperor gave daily public audience; Diwane-i-Khas – a large quadrangle which contained all the major functions of the Palace, Pachisi court, the Emperors private living quarter, Jodha Bhai’s Palace, Mariam’s Palace, Birbal’s Palace, Hawa Mahal and Panch Mahal are some of the important buildings of this residential complex. The Friday Mosque and the exquisite tomb of Sheik Salim Chisti are in the religious grounds set aside in a separate enclosure adjacent to the secular buildings.Continue drive to Jaipur. Arrive Jaipur and check-in to hotel. Overnight in Jaipur
DAY 06 : JAIPUR
Morning: enjoy your breakfast at the hotelAfter breakfast you will proceed for the excursion to Amber Fort, here you will enjoy the Elephant Ride to reach atop of the palace. Continue your tour: with the city tour of Jaipur- visiting Maharaja’s City Palace, the former Royal residence, part of it converted into a museum. Later visit the Jantar Mantar, which is the largest stone and marble crafted observatory in the world, having 17 large instruments, many of them still in working condition. During the tour you will also have a brief photography stop at Hawa Mahal - the Palace of Winds. Also visit Albert Hall. Overnight in Jaipur
DAY 07 : JAIPUR – DELHI (255 Kms/ 5 ½ Hrs)
Morning check-out and drive back to Delhi. Arrive Delhi & transfer to hotel. Overnight in Delhi
DAY 08 : DELHI (DEPARTURE)
Breakfast at Hotel. Later on time transfer to International airport to board your flight for onward journey.
